Lost African grey parrot on the afternoon of December 29th. Medium
gray bird, maroon tail, fully flighted.
Her name is "Gravyrock" and she says her name, my son Ian's
name, "hello" and "Blah blah blah blah" And she calls me "mamarock."
She's mean, doesn't like anyone, bites, chews everything up, needs
seizure medication and poops everywhere. Nonetheless, I've had her
six years since she was a baby and I love her.
If you see her or hear her hooting and whistling, please email or
call me because I can catch her if I could only find out where she
is. There was a thunderstorm last night (her first night out) and I'm
worried.

Still Lost - Cockatiel Chirpy
After reading a recent reunion story I can't give up hope!
Chirpy, missing since July 30, 2007 is a yellow and white pied
cockatiel, banded on one foot. Last seen at Dowse's Orchard in
Sherborn, MA mid October. He whistles but is timid. He has the
characteristic orange cheek patches. Any information or sightings

Missing since July 30, Chripy is a pied banded cockatiel with a light yellow
body and grey on his wings, yellow crest and bright orange cheeks. He loves to
whistle and will respond to his name. He was last sighted on October 19 at
Dowse's Orchard in Sherborn. The smart little guy that he is has found the
perfect location offering apples galore, a pond, and a park nearby. We have set
his cage up there in hopes of coaxing him down to it, but as of now no luck. If

My friend was bringing in her seven (7) cockatiels from their outdoor aviary
to inside her home on New Year's Eve Day, here in Rockport, Texas. It was
supposed to get down to about 40 degrees that night, so she did not want
them to get cold. One of her dogs jumped up on her, the cage with the seven
Tiels was dropped and fell apart, and all seven cockatiels flew off. She is
devastated and wants her birds back, if anyone can help. She has had these
birds for years, and tonight it is supposed to possibly get down to freezing
temps here. I know there's probably no one on any of the lists from
Rockport, Texas, but if anyone is, any help in finding these lost, loved
birds would be much appreciated. She is leaving their outdoor aviary open
and full of feed, so maybe at least some of them will go back for food.
Any help is much appreciated and thanks so much.

We were hiking in San Bruno Mountain Park today and a grey and white
cockatiel with a yellow plume on its head jumped onto my husband's
back and stayed on his shoulder right up until we got to the car. we
were going to bring it home but it flew away. we tried to get it to
come back, but it went up into a tree in the parking lot area. so good
luck finding it - we hope it gets home safely!

2 wild caught Military Macaws were accidentally released yesteday.
The owner was able to recapture one of them but one is still loose in
the neighborhood trees of her home. She lives on Railroad Avenue in
Cotati, CA.
If anyone has any suggestions or information that will be helpful to

Healthy, probably very tired as he is a couch potato. Very tame. Will

We lost our pet cockatiel on Saturday Dec-28 when he got out the front
door. He was last seen about 2 blocks south of the Mercer Island
library but can fly well and could be a great distance away. His name
is Taz and he is quite talkative. He is mostly gray with some white, a
yellow head and classic orange cheeks. He is banded. He says "Go Taz"
or "Go Tazmo", wolf whistles and then says "hot chick", "Puerto Rico",
"Peekaboo" and more. His favorite saying is "I'm being good boy". If
you see him, or hear him talking please contact us with a location.
Our son misses him greatly.
