I know it has been just over a year since Ruffles has been gone. He is a beautiful Jenday Conure who will be 3 years old on the 12th of May 2008. Not a day goes by that I don't think fondly of him and I still miss him so much. He flew out my front door while I was getting the mail on Dec 28th, 2006. I just hope he found a good home and did not suffer the wintercold here in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. I know he has been gone a long time but I just can't give up hope the a miracle can happen. I now have a baby Black Capped Conure named Sassy who is 6 months old now. It is a joy having a bird in the house again. She is completely different from Ruffles in many ways. We are getting to know each other and forming trust between us. The key is patience, loving and understanding. The best wishes to everyone for a Happy New Year.

My precious Ruffles is still missing. I miss him dearly. He was lost
on December 28th, 2006 when I went to collect the mail at my front

We were in the middle of moving and the neighbor boy took her outside! She had never been outside in a child's hands before and became scared! Unfortunatly she was due for her flight feathers to be trimmed as well! We are afraid that she might have froze to death the first night outside! Please if someone has caught her, I know that she is sooooo sweet and affectionate, but she belongs to my littlest daughter whom loves her sooo much!
